Mesh Networking is a network architecture in which multiple devices, known as nodes, communicate with one another and work together to forward data across the network. Instead of relying on a single central connection, each node can connect directly to several nearby nodes, allowing information to travel through multiple possible paths. If one connection becomes unavailable, data can often be routed through another path, making the network more resilient.

For example, a large warehouse can use mesh networking to connect sensors, automated equipment, cameras, and other devices throughout the facility. Data can move from one device to another until it reaches the required destination, even when some nodes are far from the main network gateway. Mesh Networking is commonly used in IoT systems, smart buildings, industrial automation, wireless sensor networks, smart cities, and connected devices where reliable coverage and flexible connectivity are important.
