SPGS

A High Availability Cluster is a group of interconnected servers or computing systems designed to keep applications and services running even when one system fails. The cluster uses multiple nodes that share workloads, resources, or services. If a node becomes unavailable because of hardware failure, maintenance, or another issue, another node can automatically take over its responsibilities. This reduces service interruptions and improves system reliability.

High Availability Clusters are commonly used in hospitals, financial institutions, cloud platforms, data centers, and other environments where continuous service is important. Their main purpose is to prevent a single point of failure and maintain access to critical applications and data. By providing redundancy, automatic failover, and improved resilience, these clusters help organizations reduce downtime, protect operations, and deliver dependable services to users.
