Hand Tracking is a computer vision technology that detects and continuously follows the position, movement, and orientation of a person’s hand within a camera’s view. It can identify key points such as the palm, fingers, and joints, allowing software to understand hand movement in real time without requiring physical contact with a device.

Hand tracking is commonly used in virtual and augmented reality, gesture-based interfaces, robotics, gaming, interactive displays, and accessibility applications. By continuously tracking hand position and motion, systems can enable users to interact with digital objects, manipulate virtual environments, or control devices through natural hand movements.
