SPGS

A GPU, or Graphics Processing Unit, is a specialized processor designed to perform many calculations at the same time. It was originally developed to handle graphics and visual effects efficiently, but its ability to process large numbers of operations in parallel also makes it useful for other demanding tasks. Unlike a CPU, which is designed for a broad range of sequential and general-purpose operations, a GPU is particularly effective at handling highly parallel workloads.

GPUs are widely used in gaming, video rendering, scientific computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data processing. They can accelerate tasks such as image generation, simulations, and training AI models by processing many calculations simultaneously. Modern GPUs may be built into computers or provided as dedicated hardware with their own high-speed memory.
