SPGS

GPU inference is the process of using a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to run a trained artificial intelligence or machine learning model and produce results from new input data. After a model has completed its training, inference allows it to apply what it has learned to tasks such as recognizing images, generating content, understanding speech, or making predictions.

GPUs are well suited for inference because they can perform many calculations simultaneously, helping models process large amounts of data quickly. GPU inference is commonly used in cloud services, data centers, autonomous systems, computer vision, recommendation systems, and generative AI applications. Depending on the workload, using a GPU can reduce response times and support multiple requests at once, making AI-powered applications faster and more responsive.
