Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) are integrated systems in which physical devices, machines, sensors, and processes are connected with software, computing, and communication networks. They continuously exchange information between the physical and digital worlds, allowing digital systems to monitor physical conditions and influence real-world operations.

CPS are used in smart manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, energy systems, smart buildings, transportation, and industrial automation. Sensors can collect information such as temperature, motion, pressure, location, or machine performance, while software analyzes the data and can trigger actions through connected actuators. By combining physical processes with intelligent computing and communication, CPS enable real-time monitoring, automation, optimization, and more responsive decision-making.
