Cloud Edge Synchronization is the process of keeping data, applications, and workloads consistent between cloud platforms and edge devices or computing nodes located closer to where data is generated. It allows information collected at the edge to be processed locally and synchronized with centralized cloud systems, while relevant updates can also flow back to edge locations.

This approach is valuable for environments where low latency and continuous connectivity matter, such as industrial sensors, smart cities, connected vehicles, and remote monitoring systems. Synchronization mechanisms help manage changing data across distributed locations while reducing unnecessary transfers to the cloud.
