AI computing refers to the computing hardware and software infrastructure used to process artificial intelligence workloads. It supports operations such as training machine learning models, running AI inference, processing large datasets, and executing complex neural-network calculations that can be demanding for conventional computing systems.

Modern AI computing often relies on GPUs, AI accelerators, TPUs, NPUs, high-performance CPUs, and distributed computing systems. Training a large model may require thousands of processors working together, while edge devices may use specialized chips to run AI locally with limited power. AI computing is fundamental to generative AI, computer vision, robotics, autonomous systems, and large-scale analytics.
