Neural rendering is a technique that uses neural networks to generate, reconstruct, or enhance visual content from images, video, 3D data, or other inputs. Instead of relying solely on traditional graphics methods, neural models learn how visual information should appear and can use that knowledge to create realistic scenes, objects, lighting, textures, or views.

For example, a neural rendering system can generate a new viewpoint of an object from a collection of photographs, allowing viewers to explore the scene from angles that were not directly captured. The technology is used in applications such as virtual reality, augmented reality, computer graphics, visual effects, digital twins, 3D reconstruction, gaming, and AI-generated imagery.
