BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) is a wireless communication technology designed to exchange small amounts of data while consuming very little power. Unlike traditional Bluetooth connections that often maintain continuous data links, BLE devices can remain in a low-power state and communicate briefly when needed. It uses advertising packets and short connections to discover devices, exchange information, and trigger actions.

BLE is widely used in fitness trackers, smart locks, beacons, medical sensors, keyboards, and Internet of Things devices. Its low energy requirements make it particularly suitable for battery-powered devices that need to operate for months or years without frequent charging.
